Finishing a draft has never felt more relieving. In fact, I would even go as far to say that I feel as if I'm closer to my dream of getting published with a literary agent. As I'm going through with edits, I can see the dream. It's like the light at the end of the tunnel. I honestly cannot believe how much work I'm getting done right now. I don't even know where this motivation is coming from. One thing I thought was bad before I began revising was my epilogue. When I reread it, I couldn't think of any other ending. I was so proud of that. However, I did end up changing my opening which I am super proud of. My first line, you ask? "I may die in three minutes."Like I said, I'm super proud of that line. My opening is way better than any other opening I've written. I've said this time and time again, this is my Harry Potter. This is the book that will get me somewhere. I feel so strongly with these characters that I don't even know what other books I would write. I love contemporary, but I feel like the world I'm writing at the moment is my favorite. I'm not going to pull a Cassandra Clare, but this is my favorite world to be in. Well, I'd better get back to work! Until next time,
